I took this in a place called Yongding in Fujian province, China! The buildings are called “tulous,” and that is where the Hakka people, a Chinese ethnic group, used to live with their families.

All I knew was I loved doll houses more than barbies and dolls. Them doll houses and buildings and houses and rooms and cities.
I loved them.
